About Jack
Jack has specialized training in pharmacotherapy and in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Interpersonal Psychotherapy. His focus is on helping clients identify obstacles to self-realization, understanding and managing mental illness, coping with stress, and identifying and reframing maladaptive thinking. The treatments that Jack provides are recovery oriented and trauma informed: he believes that recovery is possible and helps people to live a self-determined life and fulfill their potential but also realizes the impact of trauma on mental health can take when exploring paths to recovery. Sometimes medication may be helpful and together will explore if and what type of medication is right for a patient.
Jack has been with Dr. Lauter’s practice since Fall 2016. His services include individual psychotherapy, diagnostic evaluation, and medication management/prescribing.
